On behalf of Seltec Sports, I was in Kitzbühel for ensuring proper tv graphics and infosystem operation during race week. Everything went fine, although the weather caused the cancellation of Training 3 and Super-G. But still the shortened Hahnenkamm Downhill and the Combined Slalom took place. There was two seperate graphic feeds: one main graphics and one graphics providing a running time for the additional start recording. Also some 40 infosystems onsite and a web infosystem was provided.
The first stop of the Red Bull Crashed Ice World Championship 2012 was held in Saint Paul, USA. Some 80.000 spectators lined up along the track. We provided a perfect service under rough conditions, meaning people shaking the photocell, standing in front of the finish-camera, television and intercom problems, ... Now we are looking forward to the next stop in Valkenburg, where we will again provide three HD feeds, ten infosystems and data services.
Oslo will host the first ever World Snowboarding Championship in February 2012. The event was created by the TTR World Tour, the body that also runs events like Air & Style. After several successfull years in Oslo providing services to the Arctic Challenge, the organizers again decided to give away the contract to Hego including us. Therefore we will be providing software for live HD television graphics, judging- and commentator systems onsite. The scoring format to be used is the new Snowboarding Live Scoring (SLS) System introduced last year by TTR.
