The season is over and the championship was decided at the last 300m before the finish. We provided three live HD-feeds, up to 15 local infosystems on-site, a web infosystem, timing with lightbeams and photofinish, as well as data services for all events of this year's Red Bull Crashed Ice World Championship. We hope to extend our commitment next season.
Last wekeend the third out of four steps of the Red Bull Crashed Ice World Championship took place in Åre, Sweden. After pushing organizers for two years now to show our high-speed photo-finish images on television, the organizers agreed this time - and they loved it. So from now on we will be showing ALGE OptiC2 images on the television screen on close decision.
This week, the first ever Word Snowboarding Championships organised by the TTR are taking place in Oslo, Norway. dbnetsoft is hired by Hego as in the previous years already for the Arctic Challenge, one of the rare 6-star events. This year we are again responsible for several live HD tv graphics and the judging/scoring system. Norwegian broadcaster NRK created a completely new and never-seen-before tv graphic experience, including a cool comic-book look, hardware challenging 3D live video effets and matching sound effects. The implementation took us some time, but the final result looks amazing. A webcast can be seen here at the official WSC website. For preparation and pre-qualification I was onsite myself, but now I am heading over to Are for the third stop of the Red Bull Crashed Ice. The guys from Hego will be producing here in oslo for the rest of the week without me.
